Knitting Machine Operators
Location: Statesville, North Carolina

Reports To: Production Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Knitting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining sock knitting machines, seaming finished socks, and preparing machines for production through proper yarning and setup. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sock knitting machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality socks
- Yarn up machines, including threading yarns and preparing machines for production runs
- Seam socks using appropriate equipment to ensure proper fit and finish
- Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and work areas
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Assist with additional production tasks as needed

- Ability to operate or willingness to learn sock knitting and seaming machines

Experience & Education
- Previous manufacturing or textile experience preferred, but not required
- On-the-job training provided
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with machinery and production equipment
- Standing, bending, and light lifting required
